As a specialist in spinal cord injury (SCI) medicine at NYU Langone Health, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to my patients. My approach is centered on understanding the unique challenges faced by individuals with spinal cord injuries and working collaboratively to enhance their quality of life. I find it incredibly rewarding to see my patients regain independence and improve their functionality through personalized treatment plans.

I specialize in managing conditions related to spinal cord injuries, including tetraplegia and paraplegia, both complete and incomplete. My extensive experience in this field allows me to address the complex needs of my patients, offering advanced treatment options and rehabilitation strategies. My goal is to help patients achieve the highest possible level of independence and functionality.

With over four decades of experience in SCI medicine, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. My fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center in 1979–1981 laid the foundation for my career, and since then, I have continually refined my skills and methodologies. I am committed to staying abreast of the latest advancements in SCI treatment to provide the best possible care for my patients.
