As a clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate mental health care for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where individuals feel connected, understood, and empowered to reach their personal goals.

As a part of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Service, I specialize in neuro-affirming therapy for autistic individuals and those with related neurodevelopmental differences across their lifespan. I offer a range of services including individual therapy, parent training, family therapy, and group-based interventions. I also direct our center’s Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®), which provide social skills support for preschoolers, adolescents, and young adults.

My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent-focused interventions, and other tailored practices to meet each individual’s unique needs. In addition to supporting neurodevelopmental differences, I have extensive training in treating co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, and attention-related challenges. I work closely with schools and other care providers to ensure continuity and coordination of care. I also specialize in comprehensive neurodevelopmental evaluations for individuals from toddlerhood through adulthood, partnering with families to help them advocate for their needs.

A key focus of my work is the dissemination of best practices to support neurodivergent individuals across home, school, and community settings. As the NYU NEST social-emotional consultant, I collaborate with public schools to foster inclusive educational environments for autistic students. I also give regular talks through the Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder to support community education and awareness. In addition, I teach undergraduate courses at NYU and provide clinical supervision to psychology trainees at various levels.

I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from Northwestern University and completed my clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship with a specialization in autism at the Yale Child Study Center. My interest in psychology began in childhood, inspired by my grandfather’s compassionate work as a college counselor. This early influence, combined with formative experiences working with autistic youth as an undergraduate, guided me toward a career supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental differences. I’m deeply grateful to the many families I’ve had the privilege to work with and learn from—and feel fortunate to continue this meaningful work at the NYU Child Study Center.
