As a geriatric and palliative care physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to effective communication and empathetic listening, particularly when discussing serious illnesses with patients and their families. I recognize the vital role that strong communication plays in building trust, enhancing patient care, and improving overall health outcomes. My passion lies in improving the experiences of older patients and families as they navigate the complexities of the healthcare system.

With a decade of clinical experience in geriatrics and palliative medicine, I have established an outpatient palliative care clinic, expanding access to essential services for underserved populations. In my role as medical director of geriatrics and palliative care at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, I led a grant-funded study focused on improving outcomes for geriatric trauma patients in Brooklyn.

I strive to embody integrity, compassion, respect, and empathy in all my interactions with patients and colleagues, as recognized by my induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. At NYU Langone, I am committed to continually enhancing the quality of healthcare for older adults and patients with serious illnesses, while also promoting diversity within the field of medicine.
