As the associate section chief of critical care at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, I am dedicated to advancing patient care through innovative practices and compassionate treatment. My philosophy centers on the belief that patients deserve personalized, high-quality care, and I am committed to making a meaningful difference in their lives.

I specialize in critical care medicine, with a particular focus on global health, disaster medicine, the use of point-of-care ultrasound in medical practice, and simulation training for medical education. Additionally, I serve as a methodologist for the American Thoracic Society, a role through which I help develop evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for providers with the overall intent to optimize the care of patients with various conditions. This role, in conjunction with my membership in the Task Force for Mass Critical Care and experience managing patients at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, underscores my commitment to continuous improvement in patient care, both in times of stability and in times of stress.

I pursued my medical career with a focus on critical care, driven by the dynamic and challenging nature of the field. At NYU Langone, I am proud to be part of a team that values coordinated care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment and support.
