It was important for me to choose a specialty that would challenge both my hands and mind, and allow me to play a pivotal role in people’s lives. As a vascular surgeon, I’m involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care of my patients.

My practice includes patients of all ages and backgrounds, and I offer both open and minimally invasive techniques, as well as conservative management when necessary. Specifically, I diagnose and treat aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease, kidney failure that requires dialysis, thoracic outlet syndrome, and venous disease. I believe in listening closely to my patients to understand their problems and provide them with the best care.

I am one of the few vascular surgeons on Long Island credentialed to perform transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR), a minimally invasive alternative to open carotid endarterectomy, and fenestrated endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (FEVAR). I have also been trained in the latest advances in varicose vein treatment. This includes endovenous laser vein closure, radiofrequency vein closure, ClariVein™, microphlebectomy, and sclerotherapy.

Our vascular division utilizes cutting-edge techniques in the treatment of various vascular diseases. With the combination of hospital-based surgeries and same-day office procedures, we have the ability to offer exactly what our patients need.
