As a dedicated physician at NYU Langone, I am committed to delivering care that prioritizes proactive healthcare engagement. My role in the Bellevue Hospital Center medical intensive care unit allows me to provide critical care to patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of medical attention during their most vulnerable times.

I specialize in managing complex cases in the medical intensive care unit, with a particular focus on lung cancer. Throughout my career, I have been involved in various aspects of critical care and oncology research.  Since 2017, my extensive research in the Papagiannakopoulos laboratory at NYU Grossman School of Medicine has provided me with a deep understanding of how common lung cancer mutations reprogram the immune microenvironment, promote immune evasion, and contribute to resistance to immunotherapy. This research is crucial in developing more effective treatments and improving patient outcomes.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I pursued my medical education with a focus on critical care and oncology, driven by the challenges and rewards these fields offer. Being part of NYU Langone allows me to collaborate with a dedicated team, providing coordinated care to my patients. I am dedicated to continuing my research and clinical work to advance the field of medicine and improve the lives of those I serve.
