  Kathie-Ann Joseph, MD, MPH
  

  Co-Director | Breast Cancer Surgery

  Dr. Joseph is a professor in the Departments of Surgery and Population Health at NYU Langone and vice chair for diversity, equity, and inclusion for the Department of Surgery and the NYU Langone Transplant Institute. Dr. Joseph also serves as director of breast surgery at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where she is chair of the Cancer Center committee. She works with women who have breast disease and those who are at high risk of developing it. A recipient of the American Cancer Society’s Leadership in Cancer Care Award, she has been named Physician of the Year at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and one of the top 10 Caribbean-born female doctors in the United States.

  Joseph E. Ravenell, MD
  

  Co-Director

  Dr. Ravenell is an associate professor in the Departments of Population Health and Medicine and the associate dean for Diversity Affairs and Inclusion at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. In 2010, he established the Men’s Health Initiative, a community-based research and outreach program to address health inequities in New York City. The initiative has partnered with more than 200 community-based organizations, provided cancer prevention education to more than 20,000 New Yorkers, and enrolled more than 1,000 Black men into research studies that address colorectal cancer screening.

  Megan Haseltine, LMSW
  

  Administrative Director, Patient Screening and Navigation Programs

  Ms. Haseltine oversees the administration of community-based cancer navigation programs and screening initiatives for Perlmutter Cancer Center. Previously, she worked for the New York State Department of Health in multiple roles and at community-based organizations as a licensed social worker. She also served as adjunct faculty at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.

  Ms. McFarlane has served as the director of grants and public policy at Susan G. Komen Greater NYC. She has worked in cancer health disparities for more than 20 years.

  Administrative Coordinator

  Ms. François is an administrative coordinator for the Beatrice W. Welters Breast Health Outreach and Navigation Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is fluent in Spanish.

  Patricia Hepburn-Moody
  

  Community Health Representative and Patient Navigator

  Ms. Hepburn-Moody works to increase awareness for cancer research and screening while navigating people through care. She has volunteered for the American Cancer Society.

  Before joining the program, Mr. Perez was a mental health navigator for an ambulatory care clinic at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull.

  Community Health Representative and Patient Navigator

  Ms. Pierre-Louis has a background in colorectal cancer navigation as well as advocacy for children with special needs.

  Ms. Rosario graduated with a BBA in business with a concentration in health. Before joining NYU Langone, she volunteered at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue’s patient advocacy office.

  Ms. Willis has served as a navigator for the American Cancer Society. She is a passionate advocate who shares valuable health information with the public.
