As part of NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center, our doctors are experienced in diagnosing the rarest bone and soft tissue tumors and can help people who are looking for a second opinion.
Our specialists include orthopedic surgeons, general surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and musculoskeletal radiologists, who work together to determine the best treatment plan for you. Throughout diagnosis and treatment, they meet weekly to discuss your care.
Depending on the specific diagnosis, a variety of treatments may be suggested, including no treatment other than observation. When deemed necessary and beneficial, surgery may be recommended. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy may also be recommended as needed.

We understand that uncertainty surrounding diagnosis and treatment can pose significant stress to patients, and we work with you to provide prompt and comprehensive care. Most people can schedule an appointment within two days of contacting us, and treatment may start within a week of the first visit. Care for children is provided through Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone.
