Further expanding access to its comprehensive physician network on the East End of Long Island, NYU Langone Health today opened a new practice at 131 Sunset Avenue in Westhampton Beach. NYU Langone Medical Associates—Westhampton features five providers specializing in primary care, cardiology, and endocrinology services at a state-of-the-art facility, complementing existing locations in nearby Bridgehampton and Riverhead.
“We’re thrilled to continue our expansion of NYU Langone’s world-class ambulatory care system on the East End of Long Island,” said Andrew W. Brotman, MD, executive vice president and vice dean for clinical affairs and strategy, chief clinical officer, at NYU Langone. “This facility underscores our commitment to patients in Suffolk County and our mission of bringing world-class care closer to where patients live and work.”
This newly constructed, 6,000-square-foot, freestanding facility is designed to reflect the distinctive architectural style of Westhampton. It includes 14 exam rooms and supplements the system’s latest inpatient hospital, NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk, in Patchogue, which joined the health system in March after a three-year affiliation.
“As with all our new locations, our design approach at NYU Langone Medical Associates—Westhampton prioritizes the patient experience, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. In doing so, it also aligns with Westhampton’s architectural style and draws inspiration from its surrounding coastlines, with light-filled interior spaces, artwork from local artists, and warm earth tones,” said Vicki Match Suna, AIA, executive vice president and vice dean for real estate development and facilities.
In addition to the latest ambulatory care facility in Westhampton and NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk, construction has started on a new ambulatory surgery center on Patchogue’s Main Street, further improving access to specialized outpatient surgical services for the community. This state-of-the-art facility, with six operating rooms and four procedure rooms, is set to open in 2026. The center will provide a wide range of surgical procedures that do not require a hospital stay, all within a convenient, patient-friendly environment.
Patients can find all their health information and schedule appointments through the NYU Langone Health app or the patient portal.
